Acer’s Liquid S1 is a beautiful Android smartphone; it is 5.7 inches in size with a resolution of 12800×700. 8GB of internal storage, 1.5GHz quard-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2. The battery lasts as good as 24-hours and ofcourse there is room for expandable storage via microSD cards. Now that’s about it? Not just yet. Acer’s Liquid S1 is dual-SIM enabled. It has a fair price of $454 (NGN72000) and it’s a pretty good choice considering the fact that the specifications looks great.
Acer says the device will hit store-shelves in the 3rd quarter of 2013 and should immediately be available in Ukraine, Russia, UK, Germany etc.
Acer also introduced a tablet running on the Widows 8 platform. The Iconia W3 has a resolution of 1200×800, 32GB and/or 64GB memory which ofcourse is expandable via mircoSD cards. The device has a built-in Micro-HDML port, comes with 2-megapixel cameras (front and rare) and a good battery which can last up to 8-hours. Iconia W3 is powered by an Intel Atom Z2760 and comes Windows 8 pre-installed.
The price for the Iconia W3 32GB stands at $428 (NGN68000) while the Iconia W3 64GB is priced at $492 (NGN78000). June 2013 has been announced as the release date for both versions.
