The iPhone 5S has finally been announced. It retains the same design as it’s predecessors and also follow the same launch cycle of all previous iPhones release.
As predicted by Ming-Chi Kuo and reported here, the Iphone come in black, white and gold colors.
“iPhone 5s is the most forward-thinking smartphone in the world, delivering desktop class architecture in the palm of your hand,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “iPhone 5s sets a new standard for smartphones, packed into its beautiful and refined design are breakthrough features that really matter to people, like Touch ID, a simple and secure way to unlock your phone with just a touch of your finger.”
The new iPhone runs on the A7 CPU and sees a significant hardware upgrade for unbelievable gaming performance. It is now 64-bit enabled and is 56x faster than the original iPhone.
The iPhone 5S comes with the traditional battery allowing 10 hours of LTE browsing, 10 hours 3G talk time, 40 hours music playback and 250 hours on standby mode.
The iPhone 5S has an 8MP camera with and updated operability. On turning on the camera app, white balance, exposure is automatically adjusted. A “dynamic local tone map, “autofocus matris metering” with 15 zones is also created. This makes the iPhone 5S a beastly smartphone producing one of the sharpest and clearest picture out there. Apple has also upgraded the dual-flash of the iPhone 5S.
iPhone 5S can capture 720 HD footage at 120 frames per second and also comes with finger print scanning called Touch ID. The finger print sensor is carefully implemented into the home button. This allows you unlock phone securely.
The iPhone 5S 16GB model is priced at $199, 32GB model costs $299 while the 64 GB model is slammed with a price tag of $399.
