For those who have Ad blocker on their browser’s with the intent of avoiding annoying ads popping on their screen. Google has finally brought a solution which was announced on Tuesday. It’s a tool called Contributor, which allows users to pay sites running Adsense a few bucks to remove their ads.
Google has already started with about 10 sites, including Imgur, The Onion and Mashable.
Here is the working process;
To get rid of ads on your favourite website, all you need to do is choose an amount ($1-3) you wish to contribute. The more your contribution, the more your support to the website!
Visiting a Contributor website, you will receive a thank you message and a notice of ads removal.
However, the website doesn’t receive the entire contribution; Google also collects a percentage from it. At the end of the day, it’s good news for everyone.

So, instead of using Ad blocker, I believe you would be generous enough to support those who are bringing in fresh content for you daily. When you block their ads, you ruin their chances of survival on the webspace. If everyone has ad blocker installed on their browsers, alot of these top websites would be forced out of business, and we will return to the Stone Age. You should support with a few bucks if you must use ad blocker.. We wouldn’t mind getting a couple of extra bucks from you guys also 🙂
