More often, I find myself deleting apps that shows up advertisement when my data gets opened. I have to admit my deep contempt towards pop up ads in general. How many times have You left a website with ads positioned everywhere on an empty space? isn’t it annoying? Well if you do, you might not be alone after all.
You might have opened your Windows 10, only to see a giant Rise of the Tomb raider covering the Login screen. Thankfully, a little tweak in settings can turn it off.
Disable Display Ads on windows 10 Lock Screen
To remove windows 10 lock screen ads, click on the start menu, and open the settings app
Choose Personalization setting, when it opens scroll to the lock screen tab
Once this is open, navigate to Windows spotlight and click on the switch to display either Picture or slideshow options. choose the one you prefer to replace ads on your Login screen.
This will block Microsoft from pushing ads to your screen without permission
Bonus Tip: If by chance the ads don’t disturb you and you just want to see pictures that’s interest you, instead of blocking this ads, you can click the icon in the top on the corner of the lockscreen and choose what you want to be displayed on your Login screen.
