Four months of the PlayStation 4 gives Sony enough bragging rights and they are not shy to display how great their new baby is performing in the industry
So far, 6 million units of the PlayStation 4 have been sold and close to 14 million games have left store-shelves. The console is showing sign of greatness over its predecessors and closest rival, the Xbox One. Sony recorded a fantastic interaction level between its console and users, the Japanese giant reports that the ‘Share’ button on the DualShock 4 controller has been used 100 million times to share recorded game highlights with the PS4 community. Also reported is that 3.6 million gameplay broadcasts have been streamed over Twitch and Ustream.
All of this is happening because Sony found a way to convince gamers to get a PS Plus subscription – The gateway to online multiplayer gaming on the PlayStation Network. Over half the userbase of the PlayStation 4 already have access to the network, a massive leap over the PlayStation 3.
