The hotly anticipated Galaxy S5 will have a 16 MP rare camera as well as other impressive features that should make the phone better than its predecessor
The South Korean tech giant has kept the complete details of the Galaxy S5 under wraps, but details have somehow emerged in the internet and have been flying like wild fire. What will the Samsung Galaxy S5 have? Will it be a major upgrade from the Galaxy S4? Samsung has already said its flagship phone would feel and look differently from the highly successful Galaxy S4 and you can trust them on their words.
The Galaxy S5 will be slightly larger than the Galaxy S4 in display with a 5.25-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. The resolution sits comfortably at 1440 x 2560 pixels and the phone will run on the new Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The hotly anticipated device will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 6 processor, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card) is also slammed on the device.
Connectivity features include 4G + LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port as well as a AV jack. The phone will also have a 3.2 MP front camera as well as a 16 MP rare camera capable of shooting 1080p HD videos. On top of all these features is a 3,200mAh battery to effectively keep the device running.
This isn’t the official specifications from Samsung, but just like the iPhone 5S leaked specifications, there wasn’t much difference from what was leaked and what was announced. You can expect the official specifications from Samsung on the 24th of February.
