PayPal payment option can now be found on your Google Wallet as you check out in Google Play
Last month, there were huge speculations suggesting the arrival of PayPal support on Google’s PlayStore reason being the discovered code that was buried within Google Wallet. Now, Google has finally put down the issue, as a recent a blog post published on Thursday, confirmed the integration of PayPal to serve as an alternate payment option.
“Starting today [Thursday], we’re making it possible for people to choose PayPal for their Google Play purchases in 12 countries, including the U.S., Germany, and Canada. When you make a purchase on Google Play in these countries, you’ll find PayPal as an option in your Google Wallet; just enter your PayPal account log in and you’ll easily be able to make purchases. Our goal is to provide users with a frictionless payment experience, and this new integration is another example of how we work with partners from across the payments industry to deliver this to the user.”
So if you are a Google Play user, you should start seeing the PayPal payment option appear on your Google Wallet. You will only need to enter your Google Wallet credentials to access the PayPal payment option as you checkout.
