Konga is celebrating its third year anniversary in Nigeria, it plans to train the less privileged on computer programming and roll-out massive discounts on some select products through-out July.
The leading e-commerce merchant shared an infographic with TechRez which reveals exclusive information of how Konga started as a pure retailer by CEO Sim Sagaya, to become Nigeria’s biggest online marketplace in just over three years.
Konga started with just 2 product categories in 2012, but has seen an increase to over 20 product categories in 2015. The e-merchant company now has over 700 employees, against 20 in 2012. Other exciting information is the giant strides achieved in delivery of products which was orchestrated by the availability of over 200 K-Express vehicles. In 2012, Konga had only one pickup van and 10 motocycles.
