Backward compatibility is not available for the Xbox One and this isn’t a development a plethora of gamers like to see. The Xbox One has been designed in a way that repels Xbox 360 games but some persons claim to have deciphered how to reverse the standard mode of Xbox One operation, thus allowing the console to play games originally built for the Xbox 360.
Apparently, it was only trick which required Xbox One owners to activate a previously discovered game development kit code that will allow Microsoft’s flagship console to recognize last-gen Xbox 360 games. The image has been spreading like wild-fire all over the internet and Microsoft has come out straight to ridicule such glorified break-through to the dust.

Larry Hryb, head of Xbox Live Programming reaffirmed in a tweet that there was absolutely no way to make the Xbox One backwards compatible.

If you have come across such images, promising you a cheat code to activate any form of backwards compatibility for your console, the best thing you can do is to develop a healthy disrespect for it or you could be on a journey to brick your precious $500 Xbox One gaming console.
